Inclusive Family Fun Day

SkyPark has implemented a range of practical measures to create a supportive, accessible atmosphere for the Inclusive Family Fun Day:

• Exclusive event access: Skypark will be closed to the general public on 5 July, so only registered families and carers will be on site.
• SENCO Sensory Solutions on-site: A mobile sensory van will be available throughout the day to provide a calm space and sensory support for children who need a quiet retreat.
• Additional check-in points: Multiple check-in stations will be available to reduce queuing and waiting times.
• Increased staffing levels: Extra trained staff will be present to support families and assist with attraction use.
• Staff awareness and guidance training: Park staff will receive specific training on autism, sensory needs, and how to support families with SEND.
• Designated quiet areas: Several calm, low-sensory spaces will be provided across the park for breaks and decompression.
• Reduced noise levels where possible: Background music and public announcements will be minimised, and noisy attractions will be managed to reduce sensory overload.
• Accessible routes and signage: Clear, accessible paths and signage will help visitors navigate the park with ease.

Families will have access to a wide range of attractions suitable for different ages and abilities. All attractions will be available at the event, subject to age and safety restrictions:

• Sky Aerial Adventure Course (Ages 9+): Challenging high-rope elements for older children and teens.
• Junior Aerial Course (Ages 4-8): A lower-level aerial course designed for younger children with safety harnesses and staff support.
• SkyZip – Four Zip Lines (Ages 5+): Thrilling zip lines with staff-led harnessing and guidance.
• SkyNet Giant Adventure: A large netted play area offering climbing and exploration in a contained, safe space.
• Ireland’s Ancient East Maze: A large outdoor maze providing a calm, exploratory experience.
• Mini Golf: Relaxed, family-friendly activity suited to all ages.
• Frisbee Disc Golf: A fun outdoor sport that families can play together.
• Footgolf: A hybrid of football and golf; great for older kids and adults looking for a gentler outdoor challenge.
• Bounce World, including SkySlide – Ireland’s Largest Inflatable Slide and Spider Mountain: Inflatable play areas ideal for active play with softer landings.
• Aeroball: Trampolines and sport activities for supervised, energetic play.
• Skypark Express Train: A gentle ride around the park, ideal for families and those who need a calm activity.

SkyPark is offering a special discounted admission rate for participating children and adults for this exclusive autism-friendly event: €25 per child / participating adult. Non-participating adults/carers and children under 3 are free of charge.
